Rounds
& Awards

Harvest Wand shoot: 6 dozen arrows (1 end of sighters, 3 dozen, short comfort break, 3 dozen) or as many as conditions allow. All Wands are approx. 6' tall x 6" wide, with a tie-breaker Oblong painted on the ground around the Wand. Archers who have never shot Clout/Wand are advised to shoot max 100yds. Juniors may choose to shoot 100yds/140yds but will then compete as Adults. Adults may shoot 60yds but no medals/trophies.

Ladies, Gents - Recurve / Barebow / Longbow - choose either 140yds or 100yds.

Juniors<18 - Recurve / Barebow / Longbow - 60yds (18-21 shoot as Adults) - age as at 31/12/2025.

Trophies for 1st places, Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places for Ladies & Gents @ both 140yds & 100yds, & Juniors @ 60yds.

Fun Prizes: First/Best Shield + Instant Prizes + Most Oblongs (unrewarded).

Eligibility
& VIPs

This shoot is open to all members of Southampton Archery Club or Archery GB or World Archery only. Please bring proof of membership (e.g. Archery GB Card or SAC Membership Number). Refunds will not be available after the closing date unless the shoot is cancelled and are otherwise at the discretion of the Tournament Organisers. Late entries will be subject to space and Tournament Organisers discretion.

Rules

Archery GB Rules of Shooting will apply, but dress regulations Rule 307 will not apply. Harvest Fancy Dress is encouraged but will not be judged. Please dress sensibly for weather conditions.

The Tournament Organisers have the right to exclude any persons from the field for unreasonable behaviour. The Field Captains are responsible for the safe conduct of the shoot at all times and their decision is final and must be obeyed.

Refreshments
& Food

Free tea/coffee/soup and apple pies/cakes will be available during the afternoon.

Toilets are available in the pavilion.

Data Protection

Various information may be collected and shared with Tournament Organisers, Judges, scoring systems and other competitors. Target Lists and Results will be published online. Please find further details at www.southamptonarcheryclub.org/privacy

Photography

Any person, whether archer or visitor, intending to take photographs, either still or video, are required to register their intention with the Tournament Organiser. Entrants bringing visitors to the tournament are asked to make them aware of this requirement.

Walkways
& Smoking

There are no designated walkways at this event that need to be kept clear; however, if you are asked to move equipment for access, please comply with the request promptly.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping, is ONLY permitted in the car park, not on the fields. Please do not leave cigarette ends or rubbish anywhere on the grounds.

Tents & Parking

Tents are permitted for this event and must be sited at least 5yds behind the Waiting Line.

All cars must be parked in the designated car park, no cars are allowed on the tournament field.

Please note on the entry form if you require a disabled parking space.

Directions

M27 heading East, leave at Junction 5 then take 1st exit at the roundabout signposted to The Concorde Club & Hotel.

M27 heading West, leave at Junction 5 then take 3rd exit at the roundabout signposted to The Concorde Club & Hotel.

At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and then take the 1st left onto Stoneham Lane. After about 600 yards, turn right immediately before the motorway bridge, signposted to Southampton Archery Club. Southampton Archery Club is about 600 yards on the left.
